Chicago, Ill. (Sept. 10, 2015) – Arnold Magnetic Technologies announced today that it will present a cost and performance analysis of different motor topologies at The Battery Show and Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo in Novi, Mich.

Arnold's Engineering Manager, Aaron Williams, will take part in a panel session on electric and hybrid automotive technologies during the show. As a panelist, Williams will discuss Arnold’s performance materials and high speed motor designs used for applications such as electric turbocharging of vehicles.

The company will also exhibit at the show. Attendees can visit booth #E1312 to speak with Arnold’s technical staff and learn how Arnold’s advanced materials are incorporated in high performance motor designs.

High performance materials from Arnold support motor systems that are smaller, lighter and more efficient while operating in high speed, high heat environments. These capabilities enable vehicles to meet stricter fuel efficiency and emissions regulations. Products include RECOMA® samarium cobalt, Arnon® silicon steel, shaped field magnets and Wraptite® composite sleeving, as well as system integration of these materials.

The panel session will be held Tuesday, Sept. 15, from 2:00 p.m to 3:30 p.m. in the Suburban Collection Showplace’s Opal Ballroom.
